Christina Aguilera’s Candy Pink Closet

Instyle Magazine featured a story way back in their October 2009 issue on Christina Aguilera and husband (Music Producer) Jordan Bratman's massive 11,000 square foot home, which sits in the Beverly Hills, California. Who knew Christina Aguilera was such an old style Hollywood glamour girl? Among all the photos featured, her candy pink closets were among the most sensational part of her home. She not only does she have one expansive closet, but she has another one besides the one that was featured!  I am assuming the closets were painted a custom color.  Many people wouldn't dare choose pink, but she makes it work!  Her dozens of heels nicely bring in additional color, making a very bold statement in this room.  The leopard carpet gives it a unique twist. Everything on my shoe wall is grouped by designer — Louboutin, McQueen, YSL — all in their own little family … And there’s room for boots up top.” Don't forget that your children's closet can be an additional space all on its own.  We often forget about the closet being a place to decorate and add color.  The closet can be an area that you can go a little wild with, because you can shut the door, and the rest of the room can be decorated with wall colors you can live with day after day.  Go bold in the closet!!  Go fushia for a girl or sea blue for your boys closet.    Consider a punchy wallpaper in a geometric pattern or add additional shelves that can be painted one color giving the presence of a professional built in closet.  Upright lingerie chests can easily fit in most closets and can painted in the same color for additional drawer storage.  Christina Aguilera shows us how sensational a closet can be!  Just imagine the possibilities..............................
